Imperial Center Fleet Listing

Throughout various stories, or as just background information, Imperial Center ships ply the trade lanes of Imperial space and of those of our allies and adversaries.

Not every run is full of adventure. Often, deliveries are mundane and profitable, just the way we like it. That said, every ship has a story, and starting from this page, you will at least have names to fit with some of them.

Stock Light Freighters[edit]

The workhorses of the Imperial Center fleet. While we do contract with freelance merchants and privateer outfits for routes in either enemy or long distance delivery routes, the fleet maintains a significant investment in our own small freight merchant fleet. The array of craft used is incredibly diverse for a corporation, but we often merely take on existing merchant crews looking to legitimize their trade. They may be grumpy and anti-authority and as different as the craft they fly, but our crews get the job done.

  • VCX-350 Gordon Shumway - ALF's proper name
  • Jonas Grumby - The Skipper from Gilligan's Island
  • Ernie Pantusso - 'Coach' from Cheers
  • Antonius Proximo - Gladiator coach in Gladiator

Bulk Freighters[edit]

Courier Craft[edit]

Gunrunners[edit]

Not every transaction is legal and aboveboard. Some deals are made as a matter of principle and those deliveries need to be done with stealth, finesse, and occassionally - when things go wrong - with an ungodly amount of firepower. ICS gunrunner craft are few but brave and provide the finest quality of customer service to our downtrodden but proud customers.

  • VCX-700 Clarence Boddicker - Kurtwood Smith's character in Robocop
  • VCX-820 Simo Hayha - Finnish, known as the "White Death", most accomplished sniper in human history (505 confirmed kills)
  • YZ-900 Olin Shivers - computer science professor known for his views on small arms
  • Travis Bickle - Robert de Niro's masterful performance in Taxi Driver
  • Don Logan - Sir Ben Kingsley's sociopath role in Sexy Beast
  • Leonard Lawrence - Vincent D'Onofrio's Private "Gomer Pyle" in Full Metal Jacket

  • Nostradamus Shannon - "Bull" Shannon from Night Court

Exploration Vessels[edit]

As Imperial Center expands, it sends forth task forces of vessels which include a variety of scout ships and survey ships. Some of these are escorted by dedicated combat craft to keep adversaries at bay.

  • Garland Green

Patrol Vessels[edit]

In addition to combat task forces, anti-piracy teams, and escort craft, the ICDF also employs small capital craft which patrol resource worlds and assist exploration task forces in times of need. These are also used to quickly assemble company might in hot spots where they are based.

  • BAF Acquisition

Rapid Reaction Forces[edit]

These ships are among the fastest and most well-armed vessels, with some elements constantly on standby at pre-deployed stations around the quarter of the galaxy where most of our assets lie.

  • Nebula SD Unbroken
  • Nebula SD Unbowed
  • Republic SD (unnamed)
  • Republic SD (unnamed)

"Branch Banks"[edit]

Imperial Center maintains a credit banking arm solely for our major customers. It allows for flexible lending and on-the-spot transactions without the burden of juggling multi-jurisdictional legal BS. We have two "Branch Bank" vessels that are essentially safes with hyperdrives, full of financiers and their security staff to best make our big deals happens quickly, or microloans happen more efficiently throughout the Outer Rim.

  • S/FRG Munificent Ryssdal
  • S/FRG Munificent Vigeland
  • S/FRG Munificent Wong-Ulrich

Staff Vessels[edit]

Certain starships have come into company possession and may be checked out by our Special Agents and Corporate Officers to conduct business. These come in a large array of types and sizes and are docked either at our corporate offices on Cepany or one many of our outlier installations.

Espionage Vessels[edit]

  • Martin Bishop
  • Donald Crease
  • Irwin Emery
  • Darren Roskow
  • Carl Arbogast

Privateer Hulls[edit]

These are a variety of craft that have either been captured or hired for privateer work. In practice, they are not Imperial Center-owned vessels and hold a nebulous legal ownership paper trail. This aids in their somewhat equally legally nebulous reason for existence.

You may find The Osk Company loaning out these vessels for their missions.
