When constructing planetary information, please use the following as a guide. There appear to be a variety of methods used to delineate a planet's details. As a common baseline, below is illustrated a conventional guide that adheres to the standards used by the D6/D20 GURPS/SWRPG systems in order to best define a planet.

Obviously, personal variation is open to interpretation but recent changes to the planetary template have been made to conform to this standard.
