RSU example
An RSU (Rapid Story Updater) is a wiki page meant to reflect the current status and pertinent data (fighter numbers, ship position, death tolls) of a story as it's being written. Each RSU starts out with the basic objectives, positions and numbers outlined (preferably before the first story post has even been posted). After any individual posts, however, they return to the story's RSU page and update the vital statistics. Below is an example of an RSU page with numerous revisions; visit the "history" tab to view previous versions.

VEI has discovered an NR operation due to commence at 2300 hours and requiring immediate attention. It is believed that a small force will arrive at Rhen Var to disable/destroy VE communication stations (2) and to destroy their squadron compliment (Terra Squadron). Rhegent's Reign and Tuk'ata will board the Nebulon B-Class Escort Frigate Caratt and launch for Rhen Var at approximately 2200 hours. Once disengaged, both squadrons will lend their full fighter compliment to the communication stations and Terra Squadron. Enemy forces cannot be determined at this time, but intelligence predicts two squadrons of multipurpose fighters and a small escort.
