Raseven is currently the property of Pherik Zail, who purchased him blind through a 3rd party on Lotaith. The droid often resides in Zail’s apartment on the Belgaroth orbital habitat Moosliver.

Bio

Appearance & Personality

RA-7 is a very well presented droid, with his silver chassis always polished to a gleam. Even his large, bug-like eyes (a distinguishing feature of his model) seem to shine brilliantly.

Like most of the RA-7 line, Raseven is devoid of tact or basic manners, constantly being sarcastic to anyone who meets him. Even his owners find themselves exasperated by his dry wit and open reluctance to do any work.

History

Raseven was built on Mechis III just before the Battle of Yavin. He was sold to an Imperial navy officer on Eriadu, who tired of the droid quickly. Sold on, he passed into the hands of a petty bureaucrat, who put the droid to work dealing with files in a lonely data centre (where his smart mouth would not cause anyone annoyance).

After a decade of the work, the bureaucrat, now promoted, sold Raseven to a passing trader, who thought a protocol droid would help him deal with uptight Core worlders. The plan did not work, for Raseven frequently antagonised everyone he encountered. The trader then sold the droid to a dealer on Lotaith.

After languishing in his shop for a year, the dealer sold the droid to Pherik Zail, and was shipped out to serve him at the officer’s new accommodation on Belgaroth.
