Mythology

The Sonic Rainboom was thought of as only being a myth to the Celestials, since the last beings to witness it existed over 100,000 years previous. They predicted the coming of the next Sonic Rainboom... but it was lost to all of the galaxy...

Until we discovered the ruins on Kala. Until we unleashed the horror that are the Aesorans. Until we unlocked the secrets the Celestials buried on their former homeworld, hidden away for their successors to discover. The Sonic Rainboom is coming... and we will be ready for it."

Characteristics

To the untrained-eye, the Sonic Rainboom is a technological nightmare. To an engineer... or someone like Cayden... she's one of the finest vessels to fly the galaxy... as long as you can handle her. She boasts the greatest in shields and weapons technology Bimmiel has to offer, as well as the best military-grade hyperdrives the Corellian Engineering Corporation has on the market.

Her paint-scheme is reminiscent of a rainbow. It actually represents a mythological event in Celestial history prior to their demise.

Her name describes her perfectly: she's painted all the colors of the rainbow, and when she flies past you... "boom" is all you hear... a flash of a rainbow is all you see...

History

Not much is known about the Sonic Rainboom's history before coming into Cayden's hands, except that it had a similar paint-scheme as the formerly-known Stellar Envoy (now Millennium Falcon), and layout of a stock-model YT-1300 Light Freighter w/ similar modifications to the Millennium Falcon.

Current Status

Currently, she is undergoing refit and repainting at a hidden location on Kala. Once complete, Cayden intends to explore the Unknown Regions surrounding the known galaxy... as well as shed some much-needed light on the surrounding Wild Space.
