History[edit]

Formally of the elite squadron Viper, this well known Tie Interceptor pilot went on to become the squadron commander of the group 'Decta'. At first, they started out like any other group, but a spike in pirate activity on Imperial routes threw this casual fighter squadron into a specialty group capable of breaking down and destroying its enemies with a certain sangfroid, bringing them a little fame in the Vast Empire Navy. However, great as they may have been, and ameliorating as the site of them was, they could not have done anything more when led into a trap by a simulated pirate raid. Upon realizing the emergency was a fake, the squadron's carrier ordered them to return; all but Dimmias managed to jump out.

Unfortunately for the pilots of Decta squadron who managed to escape, they were tracked and consequently destroyed upon trying to dock with their squadron freighter. Warren Dimmias nearly suffered a similar fate, but was saved by the arrogance of an angry pirate captain. He submitted the now decorated fighter pilot, to days of torture without any breaks in between. A little over a month later, an imperial fighter group was sent out to intercept a pirate raid on a VE supply cruiser. The engine's were destroyed in under two minutes flat, and the pirates seemed to think that was enough and that their fates were sealed, giving themselves up without further hostility. Aboard were nearly one hundred and fifty known criminals on the imperials top pirate list- and to the great surprise of those who searched the ship, ESN Warren Dimmias. The entire group of pirates were executed by a fire squad, excluding the captain who Dimmias shot through the cranial cavity on the opportunity of being allowed to do so.

Upon return to wing HQ, Dimmias was promoted to First Lieutenant and received the Imperial Navy Cross as well as the Legion of Merit. During his disappearance, his sister Vemre Dimmias committed suicide. It is suspected this was due to the loss of her older brother, but there was also some suspicion on the part of her father. As soon as Dimmias's wounds were healed, he asked to be put into active duty in a squadron of his choice. As he had indeed done above what most people even expected of the best pilots, he was aloud to go from squadron to squadron, searching for a new home. Currently he is looking into Nazgul Squadron.
