Atoran Home Fleet
Fleet History[edit]
The Atoran Home Fleet was the successor to the Atrasin House Fleet. The Atrasin House Fleet was a small self-defense force established by Geordi I, Baronet Ratselhof. The fleet consisted of three medium sized cruisers and was somewhat under powered even by local planetary standards. This changed upon the accession of Geordi II to the throne of Ator. The newly minted Duke had grander designs than one world could satisfy. Harnessing the assets of the family controlled Corusca Bank, Duke Geordi expanded the Fleet proper to three offensive fleets and embarked on a brief and bloody campaign of conquest known locally as the Expansion Wars.
The Expansion Wars ended and several new worlds added to his Atoran Imperial Hegemony, the Duke returned again to the Vast Empire in the role of Commandant of the Naval Academy. Surrounded on all sides by foes, Remnant and Rebel alike, the Duke ceded the Atoran Home Fleet to the Imperial Navy and the Hegemony to the Vast Empire.
Following his forced retirement from the Vast Empire Navy, the Atoran Home Fleet was re-acquired through a legal loophole that had been placed in the cession paperwork.
