Appearance

Standing 1.8 m. tall and 94 kg Geordi has a medium build. He has Brown hair that in recent years has acquired flecks of silver. His hair is worn short and rakish, with sideburns that fall to his jawline. He also sports a Soul Patch.

One of his most striking feature are his Brown/Black eyes. His eyes hold a piercing quality that tends to unnerve most people when he locks his gaze upon them.

He has a small scar running 1 cm across his lower lip, the product of a childhood accident.

Geordi is outfitted with a prosthetic left arm and leg. These cybernetic limbs were a result of injuries received in the Battle of Lehon. They are organic in appearance and afford the Duke a considerable amount of strength.

Personality

Always a quiet and introverted child, Geordi forced himself to become an aggressive and outgoing adult. He will usually be the first to introduce himself in a group, and the first to strike up a conversation. This being said he will also melt into a crowd and observe. He tends to pick choice bits of information from his acquaintances and measure their strengths and weaknesses. He is fiercely loyal to friends, and viciously cruel to enemies. He does not suffer fools or martinets easily. He tends to be extremely sensitive to insult and known to remember slights for decades. Since the Battle of Lehon, and the loss of his beloved Yulia Acola, his mood and demeanor have taken a makedly dark turn. He has been known to lash out physically at those who anger or cross him. He now garbs himself totally in black at all times.

History

Born in the last decades of the Old Republic Geordi was the product of an ill-conceived marriage. His parents Huur Atrasin, eldest son of an Atoran noble, and Jahree Omsta, a Corellian actress, met during a performance on Coruscant. Huur was smitten by the stunning Jahree and they eloped withing days of meeting - greatly disappointing Huur's father the Baronet Geordi Atrasin. The marriage lasted a little over a decade, during which there was much internal strife. Jahree could not reconcile herself to the expectations of Huur to become a wife and mother. Soon after the fall of Palpatine, Jahree left the young family and was never seen again. Her fate remains unknown. Huur Atrasin did his best to raise Geordi, named G'shlecc at birth, and Bedav. The boys were sent to the best private schools and had the best nannies that credits could buy. Try as he might, Huur was a distant father. Now, as then, he spends much of his time pursuing wealth and profit as an executive at the Corusca Bank. Geordi became an emotionally withdrawn child, and developed a brooding and introverted personality. He kept to himself, forming few friendships. Those that he had were intense and steadfast. He has been romantically involved with Yulia Acola of Berrun for the past 6 years.

Both boys had successful university careers, graduating in the top 10% of their classes. Bedav attended the Corulag University of Economics and is currently a mid-level executive at Courscant Power. Upon his graduation from the University of Kalla he tried his hand at business. He entered the employ of the Kuat Drive Yards. He spent the next decade climbing the corporate ladder. Even though he was successful in the realm of commerce his daily exposure to the shipyards fed his hunger for adventure. Seeking to reinvent himself and break away from the life he had created he joined the Imperial Navy as a Pilot.

He made it through the Academy with a minimum of effort, but not issue. He was sent to the Academy brig for 14 days for brawling over an disliked nickname. Upon graduation, he was placed in the famed Nazgul Squadron. After completing his first mission, with distinction, he was rewarded with a Flight Leader's position. Driver went on to distinguish himself on the next mission, winning a Merit Cross, 1st Class. He also distinguished himself training and leading his fellow Nazguls during a surprise, forced leave of XO Rogue and SC Trevor Evenson. Soon after the promotion of Jegora Fal to Squadron Commander of Nazgul, Geordi was rewarded by being named Executive Officer.

After the disaster of Operation:Firestorm the remnants of Nazgul were shipped of to the remaining squadrons. Geordi was transferred to Viper Squadron. After spending several months in Viper, G was reappointed XO of the new Nazgul Squadron. As the months wore on Nazgul reacquired its legs and became one of the VE's top squadrons. The momentum was shaken by the sudden loss of 2Lt. Jegora Fal in an engagement with pirates. Geordi was promoted to MCPO and given the reigns of the shaken team.

Naval Intelligence

At the formation of Reaper Squadron, Geordi was chosen to be one of its founding members. As the Squadron stumbled and failed to find a useful role, it was restructured under the command of Arturus and relaunched. After the carnage he witnessed unleashed by mercs attempting to kill him, Geordi realized that he could no longer do what was necessary in Reaper and resigned his position.

Assassination/Elevation

Upon his return from a classified Reaper mission, Geordi was told of the assassination of his father, the Baronet Huur Atrasin. He went to Ator to attend to the funeral, with Nazgul and Stormz as escort. Upon his arrival mercs attempted to kill him as well as his brother. With the help of Nazgul he was able to fend off the mercs and deal with his traitorous uncle. Afterward, he handed over the power of the Baronetcy to his brother, while keeping the title. He also changed his name from G'shlecc to Geordi II in order to disassociate himself with the memory of his uncle, instead adopting the name of his Grandfather.

Wing Commander

Following the events on Ator, Atrasin threw himself into his work. His tireless, single-minded devotion to Nazgul continued to raise the level of their excellence. Nazgul became the most feared and respected fighter squadron in the Vast Empire, and one of the deadliest in all of the Imperial Remnant. This, however, was not enough. Geordi sensed a malaise had fallen over the VEN. Absentee leadership, lack of direction and mismanagement gripped the Fleet. He, along with Shazam, Willtconq, Stormz and Denethor decided to move aside the senior VE leadership. The plot was hatched and the mutiny was successful. The fleet had been delivered into a new era, and along with it Atrasin had been propelled into the position of Wing Commander of Phoenix Wing.

Lehon

Several months after taking the reigns of Phoenix Wing, Vast Imperial Intelligence, in conjunction with Phoenix Wing, had prepared a false flag operation to 'encourage' the loyalty of the inhabitants of the Lehon System. Unbeknown to them, the New Republic had planned a similar operation at the same time. Soon after launching the operation the Rebels did likewise. The ensuing battle was chaotic and bloody. New Republic forces held a tactical and numeric superiority, and inflicted crippling losses on Phoenix Wing. Only the timely intervention of the Atrasin House Fleet saved the remnants of Phoenix from complete desolation.

In the battle he was gravely wounded, losing his left arm and leg. Both limbs were replaced by non-organic appearing prosthesis. Yulia Acola was killed in the Battle of Lehon fighting a rear-guard action to facilitate the retreat of Phoenix Wing. Following the loss of his love and the physical damage to his body, the Baronet sank into a deep and dark depression. His personality became much more cold, aloof and dark.

Aftermath of Lehon and beyond

The debacle of Lehon was swiftly and expertly covered up. The average Vast Imperial subject never knew the full extent or truth of the battle. Atrasin endured several weeks of accusations and recriminations before finally resigning his commission in the Vast Imperial Navy to return to Ator. Upon his return to Ator, then newly elevated Duke assumed full command of the Atoran Home Fleet and commenced a radical upgrade of all Fleet assets.

Hegemony

Upon his return to Ator the Duke thew himself into the growth of his holdings. Courusca Bank was given a free hand to do whatever it took to assert itself as one of the galaxy's top banks. Bedav Atrasin proved himself to be a shrewd and devious steward of the institutions resources, and soon the credits were flowing freely. Geordi took this windfall and plowed it back into the Atrasin House Fleet. The Fleet, while enough for the routine defense of one world was far and away insufficient for the conquest he had in mind. Using his contacts at Kuat, and the House Atrasin's newly gained mega-wealth, he ordered a conquest fleet. within a few months of his return to Ator the now-renamed Atoran Home Fleet had over thirty craft - including an Imperial Class Star Destroyer, The Iron Duke, as its flag. Geordi lashed out first at the nearby planet of Vuma, then in rapid order, conquered Leria Kerlsil, Lolmar and Perma. He renamed the collection the Atoran Imperial Hegemony and discretely purchased a Ducal title. His blood lust currently satiated, the Bloody Duke was re-approached by Vast Imperial Naval Commander in Chief Kam Vox and asked to take over the VE Naval Academy. Feeling the call to duty once more he took the Moffs credit and embarked on his new mission: to teach the younglings what it meant to be IMPERIAL.
