   Etan is a well built Wookie with only one real distinguishing scar. A well -placed sword cut across his left ear has made,not so 
much a change in color but, a rift in his hair, that oh so playfully gives his appearance a more human-like quality. On 
more than one occasion, while on leave, females from all other species have wanted to run their hands through his long soft hair and 
play with him like their own personal toy. Which, of course, was to Etan's personal pleasure.
  

Personality-

   Etan is a well tempered being, especially for a Wookie. Having grown up in a varied environment, Etan has learned to adjust well to all sorts of conflicts. I.E. He knows he's big. He knows he's strong. Why exploit that and not just live well knowing his strengths can and will get him out of most situations. 

History

    To be a Wookie means to survive. And survival was what Etan was best at. His Grandfather was a General during the Clone Wars. His father was a pirate/mercenary/trader.

At the age of five Etan was sent to family friends to stay while his father was on business. Etan, named so by his surrogate family, learned to develop a Soloist attitude at a very young age.

Often times he would be recruited to go on trading missions with his human uncles Hans and Lans.There he was used as a decoy for their covert operations. Many a times they were boarded and inspected, by the Empire and then the Rebellion. Allot of their trade was to even bigger factions than them, i.e. the Hutts and so forth.

Etan played the part so well. As a young Wookie he excelled at being innocent. He would cry out at natural intervals in the conversations between his uncles and the inspection teams. Therein they were able to extract their trade. Weapons, medicines food and etc., were all traded by his uncles.

By the age of ten Etan had learned to fly. Uncle Hans had taken him in hand and made him an efficient pilot by any standard.By the age of fifteen Etan had become an accomplished pilot, flying blockades to take the heat of his uncles, who had more precious cargo.

It was not so long ago that Etan made his fated flight. His uncles had very important business they weren't allowed to discuss. They trusted Etan to deliver weapons to his worst enemies. The Wookie slavers.

It was at the age of twelve, that Etan was on a "trading mission" with his two uncles that he first encountered these so-called slavers. They caught him outside the bar his uncles were conducting their business in, and tried to capture him. He thinks the name of the bar was Yoder's, but, that's neither here nor there. Two were killed while one was wounded and the last two he evaded till his uncles were finished conducting their business.

Man, they weren't to happy when they came out. The last two slavers were never to be seen from again, either.

So Etan figured he had a handle on this. He had dealt with slavers before, and had precious cargo they had already contracted to buy. However, those slavers weren't so smart. They had a leak to the Empire and the mission was botched. Given a choice between giving weapons to his hated enemies and the Empire, Etan chose the Empire.

Imprisoned for a little while, Etan was soon approached by a wookie mediator who gave Etan the choice of prison or working for the Empire. Etan chose properly.

Given his size the Empire would have rather had Etan join the Stormtroopers. However, given his flight knowledge and knowledge of the underground, they thought it best to employ him in a Naval intelligence sort of way. Therefore, Etan is enrolled in the Naval Academy.
