Bio[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Halivan is tall, even when not compared to a Jawa. He is fairly average in weight, although slightly on the leaner side. He walks with a noticeably more deliberate gait picked up from trekking across the dune seas of his homeworld.
Personality[edit]
Halivan, used to being around Jawas, equally sleazy alien landowners, and his mother, actually feels quite out-of-place in the human-dominant Navy. He is constantly slouched and bent over slightly, a remnant of his life among the Jawas. He tends to look at the ground a lot, rarely looking straight unless speaking to someone. He learned to engage and interact with people as a salesman, making it difficult for him to engage people casually. He has little trouble slipping in to the military style of conversation, though.
History[edit]
Halivan was born to an enslaved human woman on Tatooine. His father is unknown, but was likely one of her former owners. She was left in the desert to die when her pregnancy left her unable to work, and she was taken in by a Jawa clan. Halivan was raised among the Jawas, learning their language as well as Basic and Huttese, and acted as the Jawas' interpreter and representative to their potential vic- err, clients. Shortly after his nineteenth birthday his mother was killed by Sand People, and he left the Jawas to get a change of scenery and try to forget. He found a job at the Mos Ila spaceport as an assistant to the flight coordinator and found he had an aptitude for it. Over several years he saved up enough credits to buy himself a trip off-world, hoping to find a more stable place to apply his talents. He repeated the routine on several backwater worlds before ending up in the Unknown Regions, where a Vast Imperial officer noted the Vast Imperial Navy could always use more able-bodied men with a mind for coordinates and trajectories. He signed up, hoping to be placed as Flight Controller on a ship, but found himself assigned to one of the planetary patrol squadrons stationed on Tadath. Nonetheless he excelled at his task, and before too long found himself assigned to a squadron more in need of his talents, Chlovi Squadron.
