Melana Roman was born a heiress. She was raised with every comfort the galaxy had to offer; except the love of her parents. The Roman family, a house of minor nobility, had been attempting to maneuver other houses, well above their station, and were to busy with their lust for power to spare any attention to their children. Having bore no male heirs, Melana being the oldest daughter, stood to inherit her entire family's fortune. Including properties, wealth, titles, and all of the house's obligations; advancing their bloodline to even greater heights. On the eve of her 19th birthday, the day before she would start to manage minor duties in the house Roman, Melana bribed the House's valet to leave one of the Roman's prized speeders around the back of the family's complex, behind the kitchens, as a means of escape from the hard life that she had never coveted, and escaped into the bowels of the planet-city.

Born Michael Alexander Eyler, to Melana Roman and Larin Eyler in the lower districts of Coruscant (Galactic Center 0,0,0), he grew up in the upper districts with the Melana’s parents, where he was referred to as Alexander because Melana’s parents wanted their Grandchild to grow up to run for public office with aspirations to fill a seat as Senator of Coruscant.
