History
Before the academy
Nick has been loyal to the imperials all his life. He has visited tons of planets across the entire Galaxy. His father was a simple merchant who enjoyed taking his son with him whereever he went. During his travels with his father, Nick Gained an understanding of the different planets. Nick enjoys activites that express luck and allow him to get off his feet and be active. When not out with his friends, he enjoyed going out to various planets to fish and do other hobbies he would be incapable of doing in coruscant. Tragedy eventually struck, when Nicks family was murdered by a band of smuggers, rebels, and Mandalorians.
Nick was captured by the raiders, and dedicated nearly all of his time being freed. He was sold and bought as a slave countless times, working for Hutts and Crimelords. He soon escaped his captivity, outsmarting his superiors, taking their weapons for his own. Swearing an oath to destroy all forms of rebellion, he went on his own vendetta to crush the corruption in the galaxy. During this time period he assassinated many anti-imperial politicians.
Around the age of 15, Nick gained an interest in one day joining the Military, he had decided that his place in the world was to defend the innocent. That time came when he met a young man named Antos Xon, who he became friends with and told him about the Stormtrooper Academy. Nick was greatly excited of his future in the academy. He would be able to enforce the galaxy as a Member of the Stormtrooper Corps.
Nick enlisted at the age of 18, being watched over by his close companion Antos Xon. Around the age of 19. Nick was trained in parts of Combat. He entered his first major test: The Simulator. He, along with a band of new recruits entered the simulator in a mission to secure an abandoned Weapon facility on Kejim. Nick wasnt sure what was waiting for him, but he intended on finding out. He received a taste of what it meant to be in action. He wasnt completely nervous, but he wasnt completely calm, either. Nick Draxen, after a long day of hard effort had graduated from the Stormtrooper Academy. After academy completetion, Nick was immediately drafted into the Paladin Squad, the Vast empires Unconventional warfare squad, led by Luckystar.
Current Status
Stormtrooper Corps
Nick quickly graduated from the Stormtrooper academy, recieving a letter of recommendation for his hard work. Being drafted into the paladin squad, Nick got to meet various members and started to learn their routines. He joined his first mission with the Paladins on the planet of Cepany, to track down any dangerous activity there. Nick was excited to go on his first mission. However, he was, like everybody at first, nervous. He got a hands on experience with working with the squad. The squad went through tunnels and into various facilites to destroy illegal weaponry and terminate all suspects. Nick played a valuable role in this by helping his fellow teammates in times of need. During the mission, their commanding officer betrayed them and went rogue to join the enemy. The squad then proceeded to hunt him down and destroy him.
After large confrontations with battle droids and large tanks, The paladins eventually caught up to the commander. Nick and the paladins battled against the Commander and his mechanic defenses. In the end, the commander was then killed. Nick was then sent to New Alderaan with the Paladins. His newest goal would be to assassinate a rebel leader, Max Devito. During the mission, the paladins fought against countless amounts of droids and soldiers. He learned interior distrust when his Assistant Squad Leader, AlanRJ aimed a blaster directly at his head. Nick knew he could never forgive Alan for that, and began to feel isolated once again.
After Devito was assassinated, the Paladins chased the remaining rebels to a hospital, and then back to the base they were deployed. During the firefight, the squad shrunk from the effects of a new rebel weapon, and then brought to normal size. As soon as they were brought back to their regular height, more disaster struck. Nick was fatally injured during the battle. The wound cost him dearly, granting him Mechno-Prosthetics. Around this time, Nick began to discover his Alcoholism.
Personal beliefs and ideas
Like most members of the Empire, Nick shows alot of belief in Imperialism. He believes that the greatest way to bring order and stability throughout the galaxy is through fear. He is not afraid to kill any man, woman, or child for the Empire. However, unlike other Imperialists, Nick does not have any dislike towards non-human species. He believes that Human authority is superior, however he does not hesitate to befriend anyone of a different species.
Nick, being a former captive by Mandalorians and pirates adopted beliefs similar to that of Mandalorians. He believes in the Honor in battle and, like most mandalorians has a relationship with his armor and weapons.
