History[edit]
Over the past year, the Vast Empire has enjoyed many benefits from the war-torn planet of Dastoria. The planet has been plagued by revolutions and uprisings for years as the populace attempts to dethrone the monarchy in place. After restoring order, the Vast Empire was granted numerous benefits including control of the planet's affairs, exclusive trading, free shipping and escort protection, and full control of all funds collected through very high tariffs on products and shipping that do not originate from VE controlled areas and facilities.
The current revolt, the first since the Vast Empire took control of the planet is especially frightening. Not only is the populace uprising, but they have been funded by the New Republic. On top of this, an oligarchy of corporations, aristocrats, and potential foreign investors is being funded by the nearby Livic System to overthrow the monarchical government in place. The current king has been arrested, the palace overtaken, and the Imperial envoy assigned to the planet has been kidnapped. Those responsible are an organization named the People's Liberation Republic Alliance.
In response, the Doashim has been assigned to transport a garrison of troops to the planet in order to regain control of the situation and return power to the monarchy. Following the drop-off the Doashim is to provide space superiority for the pro-monarchy troops on the surface.
Mission Objectives[edit]
Primary Objectives:
- Doashim is to safely deliver a garrison of troops to the planet's surface.
- Provide space superiority support for the pro-monarchy troops (eliminate all airborne threats).
- Ensure control/power is returned to the monarchy
Secondary Objective:
- Prevent excessive damage from being done to the capitol/palace.

Outcome[edit]
For reasons unknown, the Doashim never made the jump to Dastoria. The ship continued to operate smoothly as the new technicians continued to be trained in their duties, but the ship failed to arrive at the planet.
