Appearance

Cali'reharn has a tan coloured complexion with green eyes. She has multiple scars most notably on her left forearm and a deep cut in her upmost part of her left braintail.

Personality

Cali is honest to a fault as her loyalty to her family has cost her dearly. A noble Twi'lek may sound like paradox but this universe is full of paradoxes – no-one saw leaders in dead planets. She has grown skeptical of her own abilities and only finds reassurance and confidence when she is behind the stick of her Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wing: 'The Last Hand'.

An accident as a kid literally left a deep impression on her left braintail making her less sensitive around other Twi'leks as she struggles to communicate with them and her mutilated lekku was considered to be a bad omen by others of her clan. Stoic and still searching for a purpose, she is resilient and keen to find a sense of place and purpose. She has read up about the past exploits of Natasi, Zsinj and Isard and as such she looks to leave a very Twi'lekian imprint on this once great institution.

Plus she hears the pay is not bad, better than hauling fish anyway – she hopes a uniform will protect her from whatever got her brother.

History

Cali'reharn of the clan Reharn grew up on the frozen moonless chunk of rock known as Or Tuma in the Ryloth system. Lacking the exotic qualities of a Rutian or Lethan female and despite claiming to be the great niece of Ayy Vida her life was not one of exotic dancing but that of an overlooked 'worm-head'.

In her early teens she expressed enthusiasm in all thing mechanical and could often be found junking parts of old droids and machinery to such a degree that she earned the nickname the 'tiny twi'lek technicos'. Her interest in all things electronic led to her gaining a firm grasp the Basic intergalactic language since most holo-net information on machinery manual guides stubbornly refused to cater to the Twi'leki market. Despite this versing in the 'slave-masters' tongue, as her older brother Ver'reharn would call it, she still finds it difficult to get her twi'lek tongue around the often rude and crude sounds of the language.

Her life took somewhat of a nose-dive in early adulthood as she was forced to pay off her brother's large gambling debts. Ver was fond of the Sabacc table to the extent that he used Cali's credit account after all of his had long been exhausted and cancelled. Faced with such debt Cali spent her 'blooming years' working the Procopian Shipping Lane working off the books due to the fever of NhM designation at the time. Even the neutral Procopian Transportation Ministry thought it would be best to minimize their alien quota. Dealing mainly in the export of baranda through out the colonies, Cali showed herself to be somewhat of a shrewd albeit haphazard pilot boasting to be able to complete the Giju Run in her sleep.

Unfortunately the going rate of elk-fish could not compete with the rising interest of her brother's debt – she has no idea who came for him but she has never set another foot inside their joint apartment since. It stands to reason that they will come for her next seeing as it is her name on the account; she has ran for too long and seeks the security and anonymity the Vast Empire can provide. Arriving in the unstable Vectra System has had a disconcerting calming effect on her. She knows the Navy is looking for recruits and the non-human issue is dying down, what with the rumors of blue-skinned admirals. The navy will change everything...
