Kairo Vandate is currently single. He has had two past loves, but both have died in tragic affairs. He is not looking for any more relationships, too distraught over the past and afraid of what may happen to any he does allow close.
Kairo has previously won the Imperial Lottery. While some would leave the military from such a large windfall of money, Kairo has no other point in his life, but to serve the Empire until he can finally be laid to rest, preferably from a quick blaster bolt to the head. Having no care for money, he has invested in the stocks and acquired a small condo on Lotaith. It is a less known fact that he has also established a profitable Nerf herd on Cepany.

Pre-Military[edit]
Childhood[edit]
Very little is known about Kairo's earlier childhood. There are only a few factual pieces of information. He was born in 13 ABY. It is believe he has a few siblings, but there is no evidence to this. In an interview, he established that he has nightmarish dreams about the night he was taken away from his family. From this, it can be assumed he was born into a wealthy, political family, and they were assassinated. After his family was killed, they decided to place Kairo into the Black slave market. After a few months, he was placed onto the planet Dathomir.
Dathomir[edit]
The period of life while Kairo lived on Dathomir is completely unknown. A few pieces of information can be assumed though. From the many scars on his back, it can be inferred that he was physically abused. His unwillingness to talk about the time leads to the assumption that he was mentally traumatized as well. His special use of a Vibropike can be attributed to learning here, though it was probably a primitive spear at the time. His keen ability for knives was also learned here. He eventually escaped aboard a smuggler craft that had secretly used the planet as a drop off point.
Smuggling[edit]
From information given, it is believed Kairo was about twelve when he was found by the smugglers. The year was 1 BBY. Kairo's life truly began during this period. He was accepted fully by the smugglers as their adoptive son, all of them seeing him as the child they never had. Some assumed responsibilities more than others, and some acted like a favorite uncle. He was taught all that a high standing citizen should know through various means. This was also coupled with more underground knowledge. Unfortunately, his life took another dark turn when a Bounty Hunter group finally caught up with the smugglers. They had apparently obtained a large sum for their heads. His knew family was killed, and his father figure was murdered in front of his eyes. Escaping aboard one of the Bounty Hunter's ships, he set out with a new goal in his life. Kairo was going to hunt down and kill Bounty Hunters. The year was 2 ABY.
Bounty Hunting[edit]
Fueled with a hatred for Bounty Hunters and all men that destroy other people's lives, Kairo set out to track down all that he could and kill them, ridding their pestilence from the galaxy. After a few short months, he decided to go after a larger target, one he dared try from past successes. After a short battle, he met Kitari Stad'dro, his mark. Unable to do the finishing blow, he captured her and brought her back to his ship, where he questioned her. It was then that a deep bound enveloped them. They decided to hunt Bounty Hunters together. It may have been the happiest years of Kairo's life, but it all came to a crashing halt on Lotaith.
Lotaith[edit]
The capital planet of the Empire was where his life met another tragic blow. Kairo and Kitari were ambushed in the streets while on a mission. During the battle, Kitari was killed, sending Kairo into a dark despair. When officials arrived, they found him cradling her body, surrounded by destruction. Since he was the only living combatant, they arrested him and interviewed him. After a couple days, they finally got all the information they valued and decided to place him into the Army. The charges were lifted, and Kairo began a new life, one in the Military. The year: 9 ABY.
