Biography[edit]

Appearance[edit]

Tall, muscular and athletic, Mors Rivek keeps himself in good shape - though makes no particular effort in this direction. His appearance and general demeanor suggest a strict and business oriented individual. Then there are also the tattoos and piercings immediately contradicting that initial image... The man also prefers using casual clothing to the somewhat more oppressive uniforms provided to the crew. Generally, he prefers sticking to the shadows and not particularly standing out though. It's what worked for him thus far and it's what he hopes will continue working for him in the future as well...

Personality[edit]

Although a rather carefree individual, Mors knows how to deal with others, regardless of whether they're underlings, military types, businessmen or politicians. Social position means close to nothing to the man, Mors instead being more interested in the individual himself rather than the function he occupies.

An old friend of the Captain's, Mors both trusts and follows Seth Qorbin's instructions, much as he had done in the past for Rosh Kayryht. He has a strong sense of loyalty and places it above all else.

He does not fully trust some of the crew, nor is he particularly pleased with the current arrangement he was invited to become a part of, but he will put those personal believes behind him and try to get over them for the better good. At least that's what he decided he'd try anyway...

History[edit]

Born and raised on Onderon, Mors Rivek had a fairly normal childhood. Immediately upon graduation he joined the military but was dishonorably discharged a couple of years later. The charges against him were behavior unfitting an officer, drinking on the post and subsequently arguing and hitting a superior officer.

Denied admittance in the local law enforcement agencies, the man instead tried his luck as a freelance bounty hunter. He gave up after a few months, realizing that the income wasn't as impressive as he had hoped.

Believing himself left with no other choice, Mors next turned to a life of crime - nothing serious but mostly intimidating various people into paying protection money or otherwise beating up some other individuals so as to send clear messages on behalf of his patrons. It was during this line of work that he came across Rosh Kayryht and his expanding organization. The man did not join outright and by the time he did there was actually some bad blood between himself and some of the younger members in the gang.

In time though he managed to earn not only their forgiveness but also their respect and loyalty as well. In a fairly short while he managed to actually become one of Rosh's advisers and top lieutenants. Both his duties as well as responsibilities increased as a result and soon enough he was able to use his position in order to negotiate deals with important clients, including millionaire businessmen and high ranking military captains and generals.

Life was pretty good until the organization's leader was killed during a fake job. Although a pretty high ranking member of the organization himself, there was still another ranked even higher still. One of the gang's initial founders and greatest assets, Seth Qorbin, ended up taking the job when he returned to Onderon in order to avenge his friend's death.

What followed next makes less sense as far as Mors Rivek is concerned, but through a series of circumstances and underhanded agreements, the man and a great deal of the remaining members of the gang agreed to move to the CcLC Unchained and set up shop there. They would have to share that space with some career military individuals but on the upside they would also have a chance of earning more credits in the long run by doing so. Greed and loyalty sometimes make for intriguing bed companions...
