Appearance

Qix is unremarkably average for her species, with a more athletic build than most would expect. Every movement she makes shows her for the insticntual hunter she is, she never hunches, or slouches and always appears to be ready for action.

Personality

Though she may not look it on the outside, Qix is very friendly and goes out of her way to be as socialable as possible. She is fasinated by other species and other cultures, and spends her free time split between researching other cultures, and tinkering with various bits of technology, so she can learn how it works. She is a very curious being.

History

Qix comes from one of the smaller packs (numbering just below 1,000) of her homeworld, Barab I. Her childhood years were spent like most of her species, learning to hunt, and survive as a member of the pack. As she progressed into her adolescent years, she became obsessed with learning about other races, cultures, and technology, and that was when she realised her first real goal in life; to learn as much about others as she could. Unfortunately for her, her pack did not approve of such endeavors, and many took to mocking and shunning her. It was at that point that she made up her mind to leave her pack, and the whole of Barab I behind her, she decided to leave, and to never look back.

Qix soon learned that the galaxy was a harsh and unforgiving entity. Her first task after buying her way off planet was to learn Galactic Basic, a necesity that she had almost completely over looked. Learning an entirely new and foreign language was a daunting task for her, but over the course of a few weeks she had learned enough to try and negoiate a job. She found her niche at first on freighters as a "hired theft deterrent." That was when she first got a taste for piloting. One day she had simply asked to learn the basics of flying, and three months later she had been signed on as a freighter co-pilot. Unfortunately for her, she was unaware her employers were not operating with all appropriate documents. The crew was detained while unloading cargo on Abrae, and she offered to join the Imperial Navy as an alternative to the punishment she would have otherwise had to endure.
