This is an abbreviated timeline of galactic history. For a more complete version, please consult the version at Wookieepedia, from which the baseline information for our version is culled. All dates are given according to the Galactic Standard Calendar.

  • 19 years before the Battle of Yavin
  • Sometime after the Empire's formation
  • 8 years after the Empire's formation
  • 14 years after the Empire's formation
    • Kanan Jarrus takes up the ways of the Jedi once more. Takes on Ezra Bridger as his Padawan learner.
  • 15 years after the Empire's formation
    • Ezra Bridger passes his trial to overcome his fears and receives a kyber crystal. He uses it to construct his lightsaber, completing it several weeks later.
    • Ezra sends out a message of rebellion the reaches Lothal and the surrounding star systems.
  • 16 years after the Empire's formation

Galactic Civil War[edit]

  • 1 ABY/IY 20
    • Imperial task force under Grand Moff Raptor and Surface Marshal Vader are tasked to establish outposts in frontier to monitor Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium and other areas of Unknown Regions. Both take it upon themselves to lay the groundwork for a semi-independent fiefdom.
    • This effort is supported by Fleet Admiral Eagleye, who sides with the two leaders over the objections of a territorial Grand Admiral. While Eagleye's forces are successful in joining the faction, he himself is captured and taken to Coruscant to stand trial on charges of mutiny and dereliction of duty.
  • 2 ABY/IY 21
  • Before the Battle of Hoth
    • Death Troopers invasion.
    • The Rebel Alliance establishes Echo Base on Hoth, the sixth planet in the Hoth system. As such, the construction of Echo Base took place some time in that date range.
    • The faction consolidates its forces, as well as works on its relationship with the Empire. While among the few renegade factions in the Empire, it is temporarily allowed to exist without sanction as long as it abides by the mandate to patrol it's assigned sector and provide resources and taxation to Coruscant.

  • 5 ABY/IY 24
    • Battle of Jakku. The New Republic and Galactic Empire engage on Jakku, with the Republic emerging victorious.
    • The Galactic Concordance. The New Republic and Galactic Empire cease hostilities and both powers begin a process of disarmament. The remaining forces of the Galactic Empire retreat to the Unknown Regions.
    • In the wake of the loss of the Emperor at Endor, the Empire dissolves into a variety of factions. The Vast Empire officially separates itself from the Sate Pestage-led Remnant and asks for other forces to rally to its cause. Fleet Admiral Caramon Majere answers the call for assistance. His forces brings 4 Imperial-class Star Destroyers, 2 orbital factories, 1 ship repair yard, and 1 ship building factory.
    • General Kadann aligns himself with the Vast Empire, with his divisions of Imperial troops plus their vehicles and gears; as well as two pre-fabricated industrial factories.
    • The Vast Empire's original High Council is composed of Grand Moff Raptor, Surface Marshal Vader, and Fleet Admiral Majere.
    • The Vast Empire Navy is attacked by a rival Imperial faction and disbands. Fleet Admiral Majere is promoted to Executive Officer and High Admiral for the Vast Empire. Surface Marshal Vader is promoted to Moff.
    • GM Raptor and Moff Viper retire from the Vast Empire and settle on Lorn IV. They remain with the Vast Empire as Advisors. High Admiral Caramon Majere takes command of the Vast Empire and assumes the rank of Grand Admiral. Admiral Von Reinthaler and his command staff join the Vast Empire after fleeing from another Imperial faction. Admiral Von Reinthaler brings a number of command ships into the Vast Empire's fleet.
    • The Vast Empire is attacked by New Republic forces and is forced relinquish its patrol zone and relocate to the Epsilon Sector, which is under New Imperium rule. The Vast Empire joins the New Imperium and assigns two senators to represent the Vast Empire.
    • The Vast Empire takes command of the Erewhon, Rilke, Rodin, and Lorn systems located in the Naroon Quadrant of Epsilon Sector.
    • General Kadann is promoted to Prefect of the Army and Surface Marshal.
    • Surface Marshal Kadann is promoted to Executive Officer and the rank of Moff.
    • After a number of Army command changes, Major General Ramses Viper is promoted to Marshal and in command of the Army.
    • High Pirate Activity is noticed in the Lorn, Rodin, and Rilke Systems. Naval and Army forces confront the pirates and thwart them at every turn.
    • Negotiations with the New Corporate Sector Authority to upgrade the Vast Empire's arsenal begins. M/SSD Mustang is launched along with it's complement of TIE Devastators.
    • Moff Kadann promoted to Grand Moff, named High Sovereign Protector, and is placed in charge of the Vast Empire's Elite Special Forces Division.
    • Vast Empire Bank opens on Lorn IV, more banks expected to be opened on other planets within the Vast Empire's control.
    • Vast Empire's first store opened on Lorn IV, known as Imperial Center
    • Pay checks are finally handed out to Vast Empire members. Morale in the Vast Empire runs high. Stock Exchange development announced.
    • Gracchus System asks to join the Vast Empire for protection against attacks from the Pirates, Smugglers, and New Republic forces.
    • News of a New Republic fleet that is massing is announced. Vast Empire goes on high alert status.
    • Casino constructed on Rilke III
    • Plans for a cantina announced. Future Location to be announced later. Numerous planetary governors negotiating with Grand Moff Kadann for which planet it will reside in.
  • 9 ABY/IY 28

Post-Galactic Civil War[edit]

    • Revival. The Vast Empire is restored over Lotaith. Additional campaigns retake the core planets and many of those formerly under Vast Empire control.

    • Chapter 10: Complacency. Internal revolts and sabotage aided by New Republic fleets break Vast Empire hold over their worlds. Surviving forces flee across the galaxy.
