Appearance[edit]
Xela is tall and lithe for a Khil female, and outwardly looks rather rough-and-ready. Indeed, her clothes are often stained by her work in the Engine Room, and her hands look weathered and accustomed to hard work. However, it is when she speaks that one can clearly hear that she is not as she seems, for her speech and mannerisms clearly show someone who is shy around others.
Personality[edit]
Xela is smart and a notoriously hard working. She has a love of machines that sees her doing her job as much for fun as for duty. Indeed, she seems happier around machines, and has a hard time interacting with people. Softly spoken and shy, and finds interacting with men difficult, though even other women can be too loud for her sometimes.
History[edit]
The Fendar family run a speeder repair company on the Khil homeworld of Belnar, and Xela grew up puttering about in her parents' workshop. She would have been happy to work their for her whole life, until she was noticed by a Black Sun crime boss who decided to make her his. She refused him, he got angry, and the next thing Xela knew she was on the run.
She fled Belnar to avoid dragging her family into the mess, and took a job far away where no one would think to look for her, the Vast Empire Navy. During her first assignment, she was posted to the Venator Star Destroyer Blazing Crown, under the command of Captain Ardus Zail, a man she came to admire deeply
