Biography[edit]

Appearance[edit]

An average looking Human individual by most standards - that's how Xen'al Xennis could best be described. He is of average height and weight, with a lean and wiry frame, not skinny but certainly not muscular either. Unlike many of the Unchained's crew, the Third Officer lacks any tattoos, piercings and especially painful looking scars.

He has an intelligent looking face - elliptic and symmetrical, with large blue eyes that successfully manage to take note of most details that others may overlook... at least as far as technical and mechanical things are concerned anyway... He prefers wearing uniforms and similar clothing items meant to easily denote his rank and purpose. He is also rarely seen carrying guns on his person.

Personality[edit]

Xen'al Xennis is a smart individual and the man knows it. He has a knack for analyzing varying situations and coming up with diverse solutions to a problem. He enjoys spending his time doing the things he likes and he happens to really like ships and ship systems.

Although the man had successfully served aboard a VE ISD-II before, he agreed to take the new job because he saw it as a challenge worthy of his skills and intellect. Also because he was told that he would be given a chance to try out certain new technologies before they would get a chance to be mass produced for the rest of the Vast Empire's Navy.

Although the man is quite curious by nature, he is also not really the adventurous type as well. He prefers peaceful and diplomatic solutions to fighting and underhanded means. That said he will still do his duty and follow the orders received - despite complaining about it possibly for hours if not days after the fact...

History[edit]

Xen'al was born on Cepany, in the Rheagent system and within the borders of the Vast Empire. Even from a young age he had demonstrated a certain talent with various mechanical items around his household. He not only enjoyed using them but also watching them being used by his parents or others, as well as later enjoyed opening them up and putting them back together again.

He frequently visited the local scrap yards in search of various items and by the time he was 17 he had managed to create a working speeder bike using only minimal investments. Granted it did not look all that great, nor was it all that fast either, but it was nevertheless functional. He worked as a part-time mechanic after that, further increasing his knowledge and also improving his skills as well. When a Vast Imperial recruiter came to spread the usual propaganda in his city, Xen'al decided to join.

He hated and positively detested the basic training but managed to hang in there, hoping that at the end of all that useless training he'd get a chance to actually do something he enjoyed. He was not disappointed. After graduation Xennis was placed aboard a CR-90 corvette as a technician. He spent most of his time crawling through narrow corridors and checking and replacing the wiring. It was rather boring in all honesty and he began second guessing his choices...

It wasn't until the Vast Empire started another large fight - one that ended up putting his ship in a bad spot - that his talents were truly noticed by those around him. Soon enough after that he was promoted and after another short period of time was transferred aboard an ICF-II. That's where he had a chance to experiment with not only a ship's systems but also with a starfighter's too and even with the droids' programming too.

After a few years of stellar performances he was further promoted as well as transferred to one of the Navy's largest warships - an ISD-II. It took the man less than a full year to climb through the ranks and getting named Chief Engineer. As important and intriguing as the job was though, after five years of serving in the same capacity the man was finally looking for something new once more. And that's when he was presented with the opportunity of trying something different aboard a smaller vessel, the Unchained...
