Biography[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Kayrax is tall, large and intimidating as all hell. Towering over most Humanoid species and also possessing a body riddled with all manner of scars tends to have that effect... He's 7'3", weighs more than 250 lbs and has a bunch of facial tendrils specific to his race. He's also got no nose and a really scary look - his two coppery eyes at times appearing to heat up as a result of his anger.
Personality[edit]
Very calm and very patient, the warm blooded reptilian knows both when it's right to act as well as when it's instead better to stay put and wait.
He's a fierce fighter and does not shy away from conflict or combat. He does not enjoy either though, despite what his appearance might otherwise imply.
Although the strong and silent type, Kayrax takes time to get to know those surrounding him. He's also slow to hand out his trust but when he does, he becomes a very loyal and reliable friend.
Although not particularly charismatic, the individual is nevertheless a good leader. That which he may lack in social skills more than makes up for in effort and smart decisions.
History[edit]
As a creature that has survived for almost two centuries, Kayrax has seen and done much during his lifetime. Not all of it was pretty either as his scars can easily attest... He was born on Odryn, the largest remaining colony of his species, but he rapidly decided not to spend his life on that lonely piece of rock.
Thanks to his racial traits it was not hard for him to find work on traveling ships - usually as a gun for hire... a position which he settled himself in quite nicely for that matter. He was eager to impress though and so he ended up displaying quite a number of savage feats as far as various enemies were concerned. Torturing, maiming and killing became second nature to the man.
Even after getting caught and sent to a high security prison he still could not settle down. When other convicts started dropping dead all around him, he was finally transferred to yet another facility. And another after that. And another still afterward. Finally he was left to rot on Tar Tah Roos - a place that according to rumors no prisoner had ever left.
Prisoners were brought in and then abandoned there to fend for themselves against the local fauna and of course also the other convicts too. Death was the only escape, and the moon's surface was filled with the graves of all that had come before the Feeorin.
It did not take a long time for him to rise to the top and claim the title of strongest. Alas, he found that such a title felt rather empty and more of a burden than anything else. Finally starting to resign to his apparent fate, Kayrax next began forming his own group to help ensure a relative level of peace and harmony within the penal colony. He called it the Exalted, and the gang survived for almost a hundred years - its members always changing of course.
It was not until an Arkanian and a band of Humans arrived many years later, that Kayrax began once more dreaming of freedom - a prospect he had secretly been working towards but felt that was still a long distance away. But then those new arrivals came and within a week he and some of his closest men were finally able to escape, putting Tar Tah Roos behind them... for the time being.
After escaping, the larger reptilian creature traveled the galaxy for a bit before settling on Nar Shaddaa - a location where he was still tracked down by the very ones that had helped him escape in the first place. They came with a most intriguing proposition though - one that in exchange for a large favor to be returned in the future - Kayrax readily accepted. That is how the man became a crewman aboard the Unchained, a ship harboring both military personnel as well as known criminals...
