History[edit]
After weeks of patrol missions, the commanders of Kaph and Nazgul Squadrons are called to a briefing. They believe this might be the end of the repetitive task, but their hopes are dashed when they learn that they will be sent to Station 5SDD to “secure” the Requis and Weadeem Sectors for two months or longer.
In another part of VE space, Arturus learns that he will become captain of the new Strike Cruiser Doashim after events which drove him to boarder line treason in order to do the right thing. He doesn’t have much time to celebrate such an event though, for the higher ups send him out into space after only a handful of days.
After being equipped with TIE Advanced fighters, Phoenix Wing makes the jump to hyperspace. They drop back out only to find the occupants of Station 5SDD on the edge. The pilots learn that the planet of Nestamas has come under attack by an NR task force. Too cowardly to fulfill their own orders, Station 5SDD sends Phoenix Wing to take care of the situation. The wing refuels and returns to hyperspace. They do it with joy, of course, since there is a good chance that they will be seeing combat for the first time in a month. They later return to real space to find the planet completely devastated, but no enemy task force. They do discover residual radiation associated with ships jumping into hyperspace. For a third time, Phoenix Wing enters subspace after calculating coordinates.
On the other side they find themselves at the edge of an asteroid field in the Messari System. They also find something else, the Doashim and it is not alone. The enemy forces that left Nestamas in ruin are now picking on the Strike Cruiser which has taken cover in the asteroid field. Out numbered and out gunned, will the men and women of Phoenix Wing survive this encounter or will they be laid to waste?

Outcome[edit]
The outcomes in the scenario tend to be bizarre. Instead of destroying the asteroid gun platform, members of Nazgul squadron hijacked it and are maneuvering it for an attack on the Xuthus when records cut off. The Hugin is captured by Imperial forces only to be destroyed later by the Jotunheim. More importantly, it is learned that the NR task force leader, Cog Obili is actually rouge. His attacks are being done under the nose of the New Republic. Though no record of victory, it is evident that the mission must have been at least a partial success since our heroes all live to fight another day.
After Effects[edit]
Not much can be said about the after effects since the record is incomplete for the battle. Than Sion becomes XO of Kaph following the situation. Shazam steps down from his SC position in order to completely dedicate himself to his wing leader position. Thus Jaden becomes SC of Nazgul. It is not known if Cog Obili is still a threat since it is not known if he survived the encounter.
