Overview

This page is meant to play host to the bright and varied history of the Vast Imperial Navy, chronicled in two sections. The first will be a summary narrative of the Division's official story arc throughout the years, and the second will be a timeline composed of entries for each individual story begun on the Navy's Story ComNet deemed "VE canon."

For more detailed lists of stories, refer to this link for classification by units involved (under construction).

The Saga of the VEN

In development. This section will contain the complete history of the Vast Empire's Navy from the club's inception up to the current day, told in a narrative fashion. Its completeness cannot be guaranteed, as some things do get lost over time, but it will be the most complete history of the Division possible to construct. Note that personal character development (CD) story arcs will not be included.

Legend

The following timeline contains brief descriptions of past stories which collectively make up the history of the Vast Empire's Navy. They are organized chronologically, with the most recently-begun stories at the top, moving back in time as you scroll down. The Timeline is divided into subsections: one for every year of story-writing. Each entry on the timeline is preceded by an image bearing one of eleven symbols. These symbols indicate what kind of story the entry chronicles. The symbols are:

• , which indicates a Chapter, a story involving the entire VE, including the Army, Navy, and Dark Jedi Order
• , which indicates a story involving the entire VE Navy Division
• , which indicates a story involving a Fleet
• , which indicates a story involving a Task Force
• , which indicates a Ship or Small Unit story
• , which indicates a story involving a starfighter Wing
• , which indicates a Squadron story
• , which indicates a story involving a single Flight of four starfighters
• , which indicates a story involving trainees and/or faculty and staff members of the Vast Empire's Naval Academy

Note: As mentioned above, only stories which are considered to be official Navy missions are included in this timeline. Personal CD stories will not be listed, regardless of who wrote them. Note that the definition of what amounts to a CD story vs. an official story may vary through the timeline, to take into account changes in the culture and methods of the Navy through time. Any questions as to whether something merits inclusion should be referred to Drac or whomever is currently heading the project.
